What You'll Do.

Performance of assigned financial reporting

and timely reporting of financial information

Complete the monthly close and reporting process

Review financial statements to identify potential errors or inconsistencies

Resolution of issues before financial statements are finalized

Perform complex operating and month end functions

Stay current on financial reporting and accounting regulations

Perform assigned duties in line with general ledger and fixed asset standards teams

Complete assigned monthly and year-end accounting procedures and reporting

External audit preparation

Tax return and audit preparation

Other external and internal reporting

Responsible for recording and tracking of complex and/or heavily regulated transactions

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards

and accurate reporting for various internal and external stakeholders

Support Accountants and II as directed by Leadership in applying complex accounting procedures

Ensure compliance across all Avera divisions

Complete assigned complex reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

Act as a Super User for all assigned financial modules/products

Works closely with the leadership team and others as necessary; Works with appropriate team members and work cross-functionally in the resolution of issues; Direct and/or assist financial reporting team with procedural/process changes within divisions; Work effectively in a team environment, coordinating work flow with other team members

Ability to communicate effectively with others; Hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
