Full Job Description

Globe Travel Solution, GTS (sister company of GlobeMed Group) is looking for an Accountant to perform a variety of accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, maintaining financial records, performing cost analysis, reconciling accounts, posting transactions, and handling other related accounting tasks as needed to support the company’s financial operations. Duties & Responsibilities: * Record journal entries and ensure proper filing with supporting documents. * Handle daily bank transactions, prepare bank transfer letters, and perform bank reconciliations. * Prepare and deliver checks to suppliers. * Prepare the payment planner and monitor bank movements. * Conduct proper and periodic reconciliation of accounts (Banks, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.). * Manage petty cash transactions and ensure accurate recording. * Maintain proper and accurate filing for accounting and related documents. * Assist with cost accounting functions and other assigned tasks * Perform other accounting duties and miscellaneous job-related tasks as assigned. ## Qualifications Education: BA Degree in accounting, finance or similar. Experience/Knowledge: * 2-5 years of experience in Accounting * Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, excel, and any other accounting system Skills/Competencies: * Ability to meet stringent deadlines * Ability to prioritize, and follow up on impeding matters. * Fluent in English and Arabic, French is an asset. * Understand how and when to escalate issues. * Organized and well structured.
