What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably within software, technology, education or professional services sectors., knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting., Experience with accounting software and good proficiency in Excel., Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills., Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
Nice to Have
ICMA, ACCA, CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified (or equivalent)., Experience in subscription-based, SaaS or multi-product environments., Familiarity with financial elements of MIS or school administration systems.
What You'll Do.
Manage day-to-day finance operations across accounts payable
accounts receivable and general ledger
Accurate and timely processing of invoices
payments and expense claims
Maintaining underlying records and reconciliations
Prepare and support month-end reporting requirements
Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Support audit and year-end processes
Respond to audit requests
Provide clear supporting documentation
Prepare and coordinate tax filings and returns
Gather required information for tax filings
Maintain documentation for tax filings
Ensure lodgments are completed on time
Facilitate and support payroll processes
Review payroll inputs/outputs
Coordinate with payroll providers
Resolve payroll queries
Support accounting system change
Assist with data validation and reconciliation between legacy and new systems
Provide finance support and insights
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Support other ad hoc finance tasks as needed
