Full Job Description

Atomic Cartoons, a Blue Ant Studios Company, is looking for an Accountant. This position is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extending to a Full-Time, permanent position. The Accountant provides support to the Accounting team in various aspects, with an emphasis on accounts payable, government remittances and bank reconciliations. All employees in this role are required to work one (1) day a week at our Vancouver offices. Atomic is B Corp certified and a BC Benefit Company. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Process AP. Prepare Workers Comp and BC EHT remittances. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare GST/HST remittances. Prepare intercompany billback invoices. Assist with month-end working papers. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Post-secondary certificate, degree, training and/or experience in an accounting role. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency with Excel is required. Ability to operate with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills. An excellent grasp of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Eagerness to learn and become a strong contributing member of our team. Experience using NetSuite is an asset. STAR
