What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of accounting or any business-related course with 2+ years relevant accounting experience, Fundamental knowledge of IndAS, IFRS and GAAPs of different jurisdictions (US, UK, and Lux), Preparation of Financial Statements using applicable laws and regulations, Fluency in English and an additional foreign language, Knowledgeable in the preparation of working paper files, financial statements with disclosures and other financial information, Operational experience in fund accounting services, preferably in handling private equity or private debt, Good understanding of Private Equity and Private Debt funds concepts and accounting treatment, Working knowledge of Investran Accounting Application, Intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookup, “if” and other similar functions, Experience in e-mail, word processing and video conferencing applications such as Microsoft Office, Effective written and verbal intermediate communication skills, Experience in using accounting software (Investran/Paxus software)
Nice to Have
Experience working in Financial Services or Shared Services office environment, Experience working in a multinational office environment, Open to travel and other secondment opportunities abroad if required, University Degree in Accountancy and other accounting-related courses
What You'll Do.
Preparation of core processes
Preparation and completion of NAV and Financials of private equity and private debt funds
Recording journal entries
Preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financials
Preparing investor notices
Preparing various client reporting
Preparation and completion of capital call and distribution workings along with notices and release to respective investors
Assisting with conversion of Private Equity and Debt Funds from other accounting applications to Investran
Assisting with onboarding new Private Equity and Debt Funds in the accounting platform
Assisting in all reporting requirements
such as financial statements
working papers/management accounts
partner statements and ad-hoc client deliverables
Assisting in various accounting and administration processes
Preparation of Financial Statements with Disclosures
Other ad-hoc service requests for funds and/or corporate clients
Acquiring knowledge of designated clients' requirements and deliverables
Ensuring compliance by following procedures and checklists following SSAE and other similar statutory requirements
and ensuring the quality of assigned clients’ deliverables within agreed timelines
Reviewing outputs and all other deliverables prepared
Addressing review comments
Preparing and replying to cluster/Client/Investor’s queries within 24 hours
Consolidating queries
and comments from the client
Validating the team's interpretation of the requirements
Ensuring timesheets are completed daily and accurately filed
updating and closing all deliverables via the workflow planner
Adhering to relevant procedures
checklists and SSAE requirements
Reporting any breaches
Assisting in the preparation of error reports
Identifying areas of operational risk
Participating in proposing appropriate remedial actions

Guides new peers and/or junior members of the team on client specifics and other deliverables; Provides support to the rest of the team and other teams, as needed; Acts as an alternate for Senior Accountants or Assistant Managers based on business needs; Collaborative
