THE JOB / Account Trainee (Event Assistant) EVENTS / Responsible for planning and executing event and experiential marketing programs. Assist event director with day-to-day preparation and execution of the SAS Championship HBCU Invitational held October 16 – 18, 2026 at Prestonwood Country Club. The Octagon staff, located in Cary, NC, is directly responsible for managing all aspects of the event of the SAS Championship. THE WORK YOU’LL DO Assist Event Director with day-to-day preparation and execution of event Create and distribute communication to athletes and coaches Management of tournament merchandise and inventory Assist with management of hotel and transportation needs for athletes and coaches Coordinate food and beverage needs with Prestonwood for athletes and coaches Provide support to marketing and communications coordinator to create and implement social posts, announcements, etc. Assist with coordination of Career Day and Champions Cookout Q rather it is strictly for applicants who require special assistance accessing our employment website.
