What They're Looking For.

Must Have

5–7+ years of relevant communications experience, preferably within an agency environment, with experience supporting financial services, private equity, hedge funds, insurance, family offices, investor relations and/or asset management clients, client management skills with experience leading day-to-day communications programs and building trusted client relationships, Demonstrated success developing and executing media relations campaigns, including securing top-tier business, finance-related media and emerging media, Experience managing account teams and mentoring junior staff while fostering collaboration and accountability, Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex topics clearly and effectively, organizational and project management abilities, with experience balancing multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment, Strategic thinker with sound judgment, attention to detail and the ability to spot industry trends and anticipate client needs, Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines, Understanding of integrated communications strategies and familiarity with digital, social and paid media approaches, Interest in and curiosity for financial communications and staying current on market, media and industry developments, Existing contacts and relationships in the industry

What You'll Do.

Support and execute integrated communications programs

Serve as a day-to-day client lead

helping manage financial communications accounts

Build and maintain media relationships across financial

business and trade press as well as emerging and new media

Lead media strategy development and execution

including proactive storytelling

and crisis and risk management support

Oversee account workflows and team operations

Mentor and manage junior team members

Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for organic client growth and support new business initiatives and pitches

Stay informed on financial services

investor relations and broader industry trends

Analyze campaign performance and media results

Contribute strategic thinking

writing and communications counsel across client programs
