Extensive travel is required by automobile and/or air, Willingness to travel in Canada and internationally for training, meetings, exhibit support and coverage outside assigned territory, Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record, Demonstration of product can require weekend work and frequent traveling, Company may move employees to different locations as requirements change, Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license, Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 50-70%), Ability to travel to the U. S. A. for training

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific related field (health, biology, etc…), Engineering or equivalent, Minimum three to five (3-5) years of sales experience in the Healthcare field, High level of technical/ clinical product knowledge, Ability to manage multiple tasks, Ability to understand and communicate complex technical product features, organizational and communication skills, Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet and database management, Exceptional negotiating and diplomacy skills, Safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid motor vehicle license, Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (up to 50-70%), Ability to travel to the U. S. A. for training, Maintain currency of and adhere to applicable Company and ISO 9001 processes and procedures, Abide by provincial and federal employment laws

Nice to Have

Experience working in the Ophthalmology industry is an asset, In depth understanding of the ophthalmic surgical environment, including cataract and retinal procedures is an asset, Develop expertise in product application and practice management implications, Proficiency in English is Bilingualism (English/French) is a significant asset for covering the Quebec/Montreal market

What You'll Do.

Generate new business profits and loss (P&L) in a specific territory

Commit to an annual sales plan

Write specific objectives

Forecast orders and expected revenue

Develop excellent product knowledge

Report on activities weekly

Represent the company with high standards

or competitive activities

Attain or exceed yearly revenue quota and P&L

Manage the entire sales process

Identify and engage key stakeholders

Prospect and convert new customers

Manage and grow existing accounts

Conduct in-depth product demonstrations

Make scheduled personalized sales demonstrations

Provide technical support and training

Stay updated on ophthalmic surgical trends

and utilize territory records

Build and maintain strong

long-term relationships

Partner with marketing

Act as a trusted advisor

Manage sales pipeline

Track performance against targets

Educate and follow up with Medical Doctors and staff

and constructive communications

Assist in market introductions and launches

Develop and implement synergy opportunities

Furnish all paperwork and requested information

Assist/advise local sales administration personnel

Maintain currency of and adhere to Company and ISO 9001 processes

Abide by provincial and federal employment laws

Team & Collaboration

Partner with marketing, clinical specialists, and customer support teams; Develop and implement synergy opportunities among other Zeiss team members, companies, Carl Zeiss field service and other corporate partners
