What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master’s degree (e. g. in engineering or business) or equivalent qualification, Extensive professional experience in strategic sales or business development, Relevant experience in battery energy storage systems or related technical fields, Deep understanding of global BESS markets and competitive dynamics, Solid understanding of BESS system architecture, grid integration, and application use cases (e. g. utility-scale, C&I, microgrids, Experience in strategic sales, negotiations, and complex projects, including the ability to navigate complex contractual frameworks, Willingness to travel across Europe to engage with customers at executive level, Very stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills in English and German
Nice to Have
fluency in additional European languages
What You'll Do.
End-to-end responsibility for strategic business development of the BESS portfolio
Development and implementation of customer and business development strategies
Strengthening existing customer relationships
Acquisition of new strategic lead customers
Strategic upselling and cross-selling
Continuous market and competitive analysis
Responsibility for offer
and contract strategies
Coordination of complex commercial negotiations
organization and execution of trade shows
Preparation of sales forecasts
Contribution to long-range planning
Leading and coordination of cross-functional project teams
