What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 2 years of relevant experience in sports sponsorship strategy, partnership marketing, or account management, Understanding of the sports business landscape including leagues, conferences, teams, venues, fans, and sponsors, Analytical, detail-oriented, Ability to interpret data to drive meaningful insights and storytelling, Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, properties, agency teams, and third-party vendors, Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, Client-facing communication skills, Relationship management abilities, Confidence presenting to varied audiences
Nice to Have
Experience across partnership functions including activation strategy, measurement frameworks, portfolio strategy, and contract negotiation
What You'll Do.
Provide day-to-day support for a client’s partnership portfolio across professional sports
Manage a portfolio of sports partnerships (e.g.
Execute partnership elements
Evolve partnership strategy to drive brand and business impact
Support the development of annual portfolio strategies
opportunity assessments
and forward-looking partnership recommendations
Support deal architecture (asset strategy) and activation strategy to deliver brand and business impact
Collaborate with research teams to ensure performance metrics are clear
Own partnership recaps and year-end evaluations
working with third-party measurement partners to analyze media exposure
Continuously monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform smarter strategies and keep your client ahead of the curve
Manage a portfolio of sports properties
building relationships and ensuring all partnership elements are executed successfully
Lead renewal processes
identify new partnership opportunities
and develop strategic recommendations aligned with client goals
Oversee contract negotiations and act as the liaison between clients
and legal teams to ensure smooth and efficient deal execution
Support the broader sponsorship portfolio across leagues and properties
ensuring maximum value is delivered
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to inspire
plan and execute activation strategies
including postseason and tentpole calendar moments
Help align partnership assets with client programs
ensuring inventory is effectively utilized to drive consumer engagement
Contribute to developing creative
insight-driven recommendations that enhance partnership value and bring campaigns to life
Create and deliver visually engaging
