What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in accessibility-related roles, demonstrating expertise in evaluating, implementing, or advocating for accessibility solutions., Proven track record of driving initiatives and championing topics within teams and organizations, with the ability to manage projects from conception to completion., knowledge of accessibility best practices, guidelines, and regulation, with experience in establishing robust quality guidelines and standards for accessibility-focused content., communication skills with experience in public speaking, teaching, or facilitating workshops for diverse audiences, and the ability to effectively communicate technical accessibility concepts to cross-functional teams., Proficiency in HTML and familiarity with web standards., In-depth understanding of how screen readers and assistive technologies interact with web content., A collaborative team player with a proactive approach, always eager to learn and tackle new challenges head-on., Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail in accessibility work.
