Security and export control restrictions, Baseline Personnel Security Standard, Higher levels of National Security Vetting, 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Experience working within nuclear or highly regulated environments, Understanding of commissioning, acceptance, and operational readiness requirements, Knowledge of Risk management, Knowledge of Quality assurance, Knowledge of Structured governance frameworks, Knowledge of Complex programme delivery, Experience supporting infrastructure, engineering, or equipment delivery programmes, Proven experience managing Acceptance activities, Proven experience managing Commissioning programmes, Proven experience managing Operational handover, Proven experience managing Entry into service readiness, Ability to interpret and produce technical documentation, Understanding of Defence Lines of Development (DLoDs), Organisational skills

Nice to Have

Chartered status with a recognised professional engineering institution, Knowledge of engineering standards and operational procedures within regulated defence environments, Understanding of engineering lifecycle processes aligned to CICWP, Experience with Hold Point Control processes, Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems and associated standards

What You'll Do.

Develop and implement acceptance strategies

Ensure acceptance requirements are embedded

Drive readiness planning

Develop routes through acceptance

Work closely with engineering teams

Influence early-stage designs

Support integrated schedule development

Contribute to Hold Point Control strategies

Monitor compliance with acceptance processes

Identify and manage RAIDO items

and author technical documentation

Prepare reports and evidence

Collaborate with contractors and suppliers

Support procurement activities

Working closely with commissioning teams; Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, operational teams, and wider stakeholders; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams; Comfortable working collaboratively
