What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Valid teaching license in Special Education: EC General Curriculum (K–12) or Cross-Categorical (K–12), 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents with a mental health diagnosis and/or substance use disorder

Nice to Have

North Carolina teaching license (Out-of-state teaching license - _must be in process of attaining North Carolina teaching license_), Knowledge related to IEP development and special education compliance, behavioral strategies and trauma-informed education, Knowledge of curriculum and/or program development and evaluation

What You'll Do.

Deliver academic instruction aligned with state standards

Support social-emotional and behavioral needs of students

Complete documentation timely and accurately

Develop and implement IEP plans

Maintain student records in alignment with regulatory procedures

Assist with reintegration into home schools

Maintain training as required and requested

Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned
