Occasionally required to travel to local and campus locations, Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard, Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally, Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building, Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel, or stoop in order to conduct business, Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds, Proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee’s position

Uphold all published academic policies in the course catalog
Maintain a vast knowledge of past and present academic policies and degree requirements
Maintain clear and accurate communication with student emails and phone calls within 24-48 hours of receipt
Analyze student progress and serve as the final authority for degree requirements and degree completion
Process degree completion applications upon submission
Prepare graduation packets for audit
which include a final review of all degree requirements
prior to the conferral of a degree
Provide official evaluations of outstanding degree requirements to students through written documentation
Compare published DCPs with our Degree Completion Plan Audit tool to ensure accuracy with course and degree requirements
Process degree change requests (including double majors and minors) to ensure accuracy on a student’s record
Assist other departments (such as Student Financial Services
and Enrollment Management) with confirmation of student status toward degree completion
Assist the International Student Center with maintaining compliance of F-1 status and degree completion
Proactively contact students
who may be nearing degree completion
with an official evaluation of remaining requirements
Responsible for assisting with the training process for new hires
Occasionally required to assist with events outside of normal business hours
including but not limited to Commencement exercises
