What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A minimum of five years of instructional experience, A minimum of two years of experience as an instructional leader, Deep knowledge of instructional best-practices and comfort across the K-8 continuum of learning, NYS Teaching Certificate, Master's Degree in Teaching or related field, Experience analyzing and interpreting instructional data, An ability to build empathy-based relationships to influence towards outcomes, Familiarity with New York state and national standards, curriculum and assessments, Deep expertise in K–2 literacy development, including structured literacy, phonics, phonemic awareness, and evidence-based early reading instruction aligned with the science of reading, Demonstrated success coaching teachers in the implementation of high-quality literacy curricula and intervention strategies for early learners in grades K–2, Comfort navigating a matrixed reporting structure with the capacity to focus on broader organizational goals while adapting to individualized school needs, A deep belief that all students can thrive in a challenging, high-quality, nurturing and supportive learning environment, A work ethic and commitment to results, Proven ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment, An authentic commitment to the Hebrew Public mission and school model

Team & Collaboration
Working closely with the network academic leadership team; Working with school-based staff; Collaborating with other members of the network academic team; Establish professional relationships with Heads of School; Establish professional relationships with Network Directors of Curriculum and Instruction; Establish professional relationships with all teaching staff
