What They're Looking For.

Must Have

A Bachelor of Education or Degree equivalent, and post-graduate qualifications in TESOL, or Adult Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)/Basic Education and relevant Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), Significant experience in teaching adults in English programs & knowledge of EAL Curriculum., Demonstrated ability to coordinate language programs and lead academic teams, Demonstrated ability to use a range of technologies in program delivery, Demonstrated ability to design and deliver professional development to teachers, Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in a multi- cultural learning environment, Demonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approaches relevant to our clients

Nice to Have

Experience working in AMEP and/or SEE programs, Knowledge and experience in teaching and assessing using a range of language, literacy and numeracy curricula, Knowledge of reporting frameworks such as the ACSF
