As we launch our next century, we remain committed to excellence, innovation, and preparing graduates who will transform industries and redefine what is possible. **The Opportunity** The role of the Academic Advisor involves counseling students with academic advisement concerning degree curriculums, academic regulations, procedures, policies, interpretation of the Official Advising Report, program changes, transfer credit, advanced standing, and graduation requirements. Academic Advisors are responsible for monitoring student progress from the time of admission throughout graduation. Advisors are responsible for conducting individual advising sessions to assist students in course selection, degree planning, and academic goal setting. Advisors develop personalized degree plans to counsel and assist students with registration and to ensure student persistence. Serves as the liaison between the student and various partner offices and colleges. Responsible for proactively communicating to students via email, text/chat, phone, in person meetings and virtual meetings.
