What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Knowledge through education or experience of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Understanding of the current therapy principles in area of expertise, On the job training or formal education in the application of ABA program principles
Nice to Have
Registered Behavioral Technician Certification, Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCABA) certification, Graduate education in Psychology, Social Work or other areas related to Mental or Physical Health
What You'll Do.
Provide in-home support to children using ABA therapy
Build meaningful connections and celebrate small wins every day
assess patient care needs
implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
continually reassess treatment plan according to patient care needs
implement behavior change procedures under the guidance of the Certified ABA Specialist
Establish a positive working relationship with patients
parents and all other family members
Maintain a positive relationship with assigned patients and their families
Understand the principles of behaviorally based programming and design
Sustain a working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through training and educational opportunities available within Pine Rest or individually
Utilize processes in place for measuring patient behaviors
Apply ABA processes for behavior modification

Technicians must function as a member of the treatment team; implement treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
