What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on software delivery projects, Proven ability to translate complex business needs into structured, developer-ready requirements (user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria), Experience facilitating workshops and discovery sessions with mixed technical and non-technical stakeholders, Comfort working across backend and frontend domains — able to engage meaningfully with engineers on API contracts, data flows, and service dependencies, Experience in maintaining requirements traceability across tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint, analytical thinking: ability to identify gaps, ambiguities, and conflicts in requirements before they become delivery risks, Excellent written and spoken English, Experience in brownfield or platform modernisation projects, including mapping legacy system behaviour and supporting migration planning
Nice to Have
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms — Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, or similar, Experience with multi-vendor delivery models and managing requirements across multiple development teams, Exposure to backend service design concepts: REST APIs, event-driven architecture, microservices, data flows, Understanding of B2B e-commerce, promotional products, or print-on-demand business models, Familiarity with ERP systems (e. g. , Great Plains), marketplace integrations (Amazon, Walmart), or MarTech tooling (Klaviyo, GTM, GA4), Experience with P0/P1/P2 prioritisation frameworks and phase-based scope management

Project - the aim you'll have We are looking for a Business Analyst to serve as the "connective tissue" between the client’s business stakeholders and our engineering team. This project involves the delivery of a white-label B2B e-commerce platform for a leading US-based company in the promotional products industry. The solution is built on a modern stack featuring Shopify Plus (Hydrogen) and a .NET 8 microservices backend on AWS. This is a high-complexity Brownfield modernization program that integrates with multiple legacy systems (ERP, inventory, pricing) and global marketplaces like Amazon and Walmart. The project follows a phased delivery approach, moving from POC and MVP to a full-scale production launch, requiring seamless coordination between business intent and technical execution.
