address and resolve in-service airplane system issues; Troubleshoot basic system problems; investigation of problems to provide engineering design disposition of discrepancies; research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer; designing and/or providing analysis of interim and final engineering solutions; root cause analysis; develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances
flexibility to address emergent issues and important airline meetings off-hours, occasional off shift work schedule to support the fleet operating 24 hours /7 days a week /365 days of the year, Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time, satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process, meet U. S. export control compliance requirements, A “U. S. Person” as defined by 22 C. F. R. §120.62 is required. “U. S. Person” includes U. S. Citizen, U. S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences), 3 years of engineering experience
Nice to Have
Experience with Interiors and Payloads Systems, Ability to present to senior leadership, Ability to collaborate with multiple team functions, Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time, Willingness to expand into technical areas without prior experience, Desire to continuously improve our airplanes, Solid communicator, proficient in both written and verbal English
What You'll Do.
address and resolve in-service airplane system issues related to Payloads
Cargo Handling and Water Waste systems
design and informational support for basic production
product support or in-service issues
definition and verification of basic requirements
Supports and/or creates and provides basic technical documentation
Assists with the study and assessment of technology development
Supports review of technical design
Assists with the investigation of problems to provide engineering design disposition of discrepancies
Supports the research of technical
operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer
Assists in designing and/or providing analysis of interim and final engineering solutions to return airplanes to revenue service
Works with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances
Assists in the development of customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment

Acts as a liaison and coordinates with various engineering and technical disciplines to address customer concerns; Works with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances
