Problems you'll solve

address and resolve in-service airplane system issues; Troubleshoot basic system problems; Supports analysis, definition and verification of basic requirements; investigation of problems to provide engineering design disposition of discrepancies; research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer; designing and/or providing analysis of interim and final engineering solutions; conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances

Eligibility Requirements

flexibility to address emergent issues and important airline meetings off-hours, occasional off shift work schedule to support the fleet operating 24 hours /7 days a week /365 days of the year, satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process, meet U. What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences), 3 years of engineering experience

Nice to Have

Experience with Interiors and Payloads Systems, Ability to present to senior leadership, Ability to collaborate with multiple team functions, Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 10% of the time, Willingness to expand into technical areas without prior experience, Desire to continuously improve our airplanes, Solid communicator, proficient in both written and verbal English

What You'll Do.

address and resolve in-service airplane system issues related to Payloads

Cargo Handling and Water Waste systems

act as a liaison and coordinate with various engineering and technical disciplines to address customer concerns

design and informational support for basic production

product support or in-service issues

definition and verification of basic requirements

create and provide basic technical documentation

assist with the study and assessment of technology development

support review of technical design

assist with the investigation of problems to provide engineering design disposition of discrepancies

support the research of technical

operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer

assist in designing and/or providing analysis of interim and final engineering solutions to return airplanes to revenue service

work with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances

assist in the development of customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment
