Must Have
Ability to maintain vigilance and situational awareness at all times, multitasking skills, including simultaneous monitoring and communication, Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication, Ability to read and comprehend regulations and procedures, Proficiency in using security systems (CCTV, access control, radios, etc. ), Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations, High School Diploma or GED required
Nice to Have
Two (2) years of physical security experience, Six (6) months of security experience in a manufacturing environment, One (1) year in law enforcement or the armed forces, Twelve (12) college credits in relevant fields (Security, Law Enforcement, IT, Psychology, etc. ) = six (6) months of experience
What You'll Do.
Provide access control at entrances
Challenge unauthorized personnel
Operate access control gates
Conduct basic troubleshooting of devices
Prevent unauthorized access
Manage parking control
Maintain effective communication
Identify and report unsafe conditions
Report security violations
Prepare logs and reports
Observe and report suspicious activity
Provide investigative support
Handle confidential information
Monitor and verify property removal
Operate IP-based telephone systems
Operate multi-channel radio systems
Dispatch information to units
Follow response protocols for incidents
Follow response protocols for alarms
Follow response protocols for notifications
Respond to emergency calls
Respond to non-emergency calls
Ensure hardware systems are functioning
Ensure software systems are functioning
Perform key access control functions
Generate access reports
Perform other related duties
