High school diploma or GED or equivalent, 3 years or more of experience as a phlebotomist, Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency, In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques, Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service, communication both written and verbal, Ability to work independently or in a team environment, Comfortably working under minimal supervision, Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives._** **LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Team Leader to join our team at Mobile Infirmary Hospital, AL.** ****Work Schedule:**** Monday - Friday 10:30pm - 7am with rotating weekends, additional days and hours may be required ****Job Responsibilities:**** * Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy job duties * Assist in the supervision of a team of phlebotomists covering multiple Patient Service Centers & client sites * Observe new employee performance and report observations to the supervisor * Perform site inspections on a regular basis and accurately report all findings * Provide continuous training to phlebotomy staff as directed * Complete new hire and annual competency assessments when necessary * Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs * Address any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful manner * Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and making schedule adjustments as needed * Promote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers * Perform all duties of a phlebotomist and site coordinator as needed ****Minimum Qualifications:**** * High school diploma or GED or equivalent * 3 years or more of experience as a phlebotomist ****Preferred Qualifications:**** * 5 years or more of phlebotomy experience * 5 years or more of experience as a people leader ****Additional Job Standards:**** * In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency * In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work i
