Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. * At least one-year completion of an approved vocational program in Machine Technology or equivalent. * ATDM (Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing) graduates encouraged to apply. * Proficiency in general mathematics * Knowledge of machine shop gauges and machines As an Entry Level Machinist, you will: * Perform basic drill press, lathe, milling machine, and grinding operations. * Responsible for the care and application of turning/plunge and form tools. * Operate shear vise, tapping machine (manual and power), and understand different styles and types of taps and dies (metric and standard) * Operate different types of power hand tools, grinders, drills, belt sanders, disc sanders, sand, and bead blasters. * Operate and understand power band saw, cut off saw, proper selection of speeds, feeds, tooth size, blade welding, guide setting, and blade replacement. * Complete required paperwork * Other duties as assigned How We Care for You: * Financial Rewards: great compensation package, bonus opportunities, matching 401k, and the ability to participate in Employee Stock Purchase Plan (select locations), Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts * Work/Life Balance: Flexible paid time off
