Full Job Description
TONIC DNA is a full-service animation production house with high-quality creative content. With over 40 years of experience in animation, the studio is at the cutting edge of digital technologies and offers a full range of services related to the production of commercials, animated series, short and feature films, as well as digital and interactive branded content solutions, for customers all over the world. We are looking for an experienced 3D Generalist to join our team from June 2026 to October 2026. Our project bridges a traditional 2D pipeline with a 3D pipeline. You will be responsible for creating assets, texturing with a 2D effect, as well as building 3D environments, layouts, and rigging props. Responsibilities * Model and texture assets, environments, and objects in alignment with the style required by artistic direction * Take charge of 3D environment modeling using both in-house assets and assets delivered by the client * Create 2D textures that seamlessly blend with the project's 2D look and 2D elements. * Create 3D layouts in partnership with the 2D team * Create simple rigs for props and vehicules * Collaborate with creative and technical teams throughout production ## Qualifications * 7+ years of experience as a 3D Generalist. * Excellent proficiency in Blender, Maya, and Substance Painter. * Strong creative eye for 2D texture creation. * Experience in hard-surface modeling. * Skills in layout and prop/vehicle rigging. * Comfortable working in a pipeline that includes certain AI tools. * Proactive in collaboration and the development of the 2D/3D pipeline. * Interested in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. * Position open to Quebec residents only.
