ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a Senior or Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation digital cockpit. This role focuses on delivering high-fidelity, real-time 3D environments for in-vehicle infotainment and advanced driver assistance visualizations. You will be the technical anchor for our 3D strategy, moving fluidly between high-level architecture and deep, hands-on implementation within industry-leading engines. Responsibilities - Engine Mastery: Take a primary, hands-on role in developing and optimizing our vehicle HMI using Unreal Engine (C++), Unity3D (C#) or a custom 3D rendering system. - You will be responsible for building the core frameworks that power our real-time 3D clusters and HMIs. - Architecture & Integration: Design the bridge between vehicle sensor data (SDV and VHAL) and the 3D scene graph, ensuring low-latency visualization of the vehicle’s surroundings. - Embedded Optimization: Profile and optimize engine performance for automotive-grade SoCs, focusing on memory footprint, GPU utilization, and thermal efficiency. - Tooling & Pipelines: Develop custom engine plugins and automated build pipelines to streamline the deployment of 3D assets from design to the target vehicle hardware.
