What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ months experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Business Management, Engineering, Military, Aerospace or Aftermarket, 2+ years relevant industry experience, 4+ years relevant industry experience, 6+ years relevant industry experience
Nice to Have
Degree in STEM Engineering, Business or Supply Chain, FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate, Personnel management experience, Experience in a bargaining unit / union workforce, Proven ability to lead mentoring, coaching, developing talent, Motivate teams to achieve business goals, Ability to plan projects, Use written/verbal/analytical/org skills to influence business objectives, Aftermarket Aerospace and Overhaul and Repair (MRO) industry experience, Working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney shop practices, Working knowledge of quality standards, processes and procedures, Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Understanding of continuous improvement tools, Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, Experience using SAP ERP, Experience using Solumina MES, Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management, Ability to work and effectively communicate with shop personnel, Ability to work and effectively communicate with customers

Support process implementation activities
Support process refinement activities
Ensure World Class safety culture is maintained
Respond to all EH&S requirements promptly
Ensure full involvement in continuous improvement initiatives
Reduce overall operating cost
Support the induction of engines
Support the tear down of engines
Lead a team of bargaining unit hourly employees
Support the various areas of the GTF engines
