Must be able to perform mechanical Refrigeration and electrical duties, Must be able to work safely to ensure proper usage of Ammonia and other equipment, Must have understanding of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation and functions of control valves, Must be able to work with devices that are fragile and require precise attention, Understanding of basic shop math, Ability to use precision measuring devices, Ability to read and understand blueprints, Use basic hand and power tools, Understanding of different types of pumps and application, Understanding of basic A/C and D/C electrical theory and system wiring principles and installation methods, Understanding of compressed air systems, Able to tolerate extreme cold, hot, dry and wet environments, Must be able to pass and maintain a PFT (pulmonary function test), Must be a member of the HAZMAT team, Must be able to use and train in a SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus), Must remain clean shaven at all times, 6 MONTHS industrial maintenance experience, Ability to work well and communicate with others in a professional manner, Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, turn, climb, push, pull, carry 50 + pounds as needed, Ability to work holidays and weekends stay late, called in early or cover other shift
