This position is primarily responsible for effective and efficient leadership, operation, and control of the 2nd shift janitor staff of approximately nine and performing janitorial tasks as well. Performance and expected outcomes will be measured in terms of appearance of assigned locations and completion of assigned work orders. The Supervisor has latitude for independent judgment and action within established guidelines. **This working Supervisor’s schedule is Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 1:30 am.****This is a hands-on, working supervisor role. The selected candidate is expected to spend the majority of their time (approximately 75%) performing janitorial duties alongside the team.** **Responsibilities:** Janitor Key Actions/Activities * Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. * Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs. * Clean and sanitize bathrooms. * Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. * Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas. * Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary. * Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not clutter
