Must Have
High School diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or related field, Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, Proficiency with hand and power tools
Nice to Have
Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or related field, Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Familiarity with quality control procedures, Experience with troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment

Who will you be working with? Wabtec is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services. Here you’ll interact daily with team members during the problem resolution process and will partner with other key stakeholders to support our internal customers and their responsibilities. How will you make a difference? As a member of our flagship locomotive manufacturing operations facility, the Final Test Manufacturing Engineer provides technical expertise for a team of production technicians. In this role, you will utilize your experience and expertise and own responsibility for all elements of manufacturing quality in their assigned area within the Ft. Worth Locomotive plant (TXL). For our Final Test area, The Manufacturing Engineer demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems by working with teams to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and design. DESIRED: * Preference will be given to applicants with Engineering experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, a Bachelor’s or Advanced Degre
