This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that works closely with the master planner and reports directly to the Transportation Planning Manager. * Support the planning team and assist with communication between transportation, operations, and customer service. * Prepare the outbound truckload shipping schedule for the following work day. * Monitor on-time pickup performance of carriers and report issues to management. * Work with the DC Operations team to help ensure orders are processed on time to meet the shipping schedule. * Assist the DC Operations team in gathering information to estimate labor requirements for the shipping schedule. * Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations, and transportation providers to help expedite high-priority orders as needed. * Participate in process improvement activities as directed. * Develop working knowledge of the Transportation Management System and Distribution Management System (DM Plus). **The Person:** * Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or 2-3 years of progressive distribution planning related experience. * Minimum of 2 years progressive experien
