Role Overview You will work on creating hand-rendered 2D environment assets for a live game. The 2D Artist needs to be able to successfully produce any type of environmental art assets assigned to them, meeting deadlines. Quickly adapt to new art styles and any technical requirements and pipelines. Be diligent to deliver the quality following the art guidelines and style from the Lead Artist, and also be efficient in following the production schedule. Key Responsibilities Produce concept and 2D Painted Renders of assets and textures for the environment, props, objects, and scenes for the game engine Understand and follow the art requirements and the specific needs of the project Promptly learn any new tools or techniques Execute tasks assigned to them according to the project schedule while meeting quality expectations Using Checklists to perform initial art and technical quality checks before sending the art asset to the Team Leader for review Fix all problems noted by the Team Leader and the Art Director Promptly report to the Team Leader about any difficulties encountered Support Junior Artists, helping them to deal with tasks when needed Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise Strong portfolio showing examples of 2D painted in-game props and environ
