You’ll get to: * Complete paint production activities, including: * Safe operation of the manual touch up gun; making adjustments to improve quality and operations * Assist in booth setup, gun positioning, and powder flow settings * Appropriate use of PPE, such as: Tyvek suit, hood, mask, and gloves * Implement practices that meet quality standards as it pertains to paint operations * Complete visual inspection of both in-process and finished products * Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet 6S standards (e.g. cleaning, mopping) * Complete powder usage sheets accurately * Complete the color changes of a module (i.e. remove/install filters, remove/clean module hoppers) * Complete the scheduled preventative maintenance for all paint equipment, such as: * Venturies, guns (automatic and handheld), sieve screen, and feed hopper * Report any safety or quality issues to the appropriate personnel * Understand the safe operation of all equipment * Abide by all SBD policies and procedures * Follow all SBDsafety rules and regulations * Identify concerns and provide insight for continuous improvement opportunities * Other related departmental duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Zone Leader **Who You Are** You always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
