Full Job Description
**About Us:** Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, is a global leader in owner equipment manufacturing (OEM) dedicated to providing custom solutions for data center customers. Our product line includes large-scale equipment such as air handling units and modular data centers. We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and delivering tailored solutions to meet our clients' unique needs. **Primary Focus:** The primary role of the Material Handler/Forklift Driver is to provide all required materials to each department before they are required. **Specific Accountabilities:** * Operates forklift equipment as required, ensuring that safety standards are followed. * Moves raw materials to production lines as assigned. Ensures that supplies arrive in proper quantities as scheduled. * Conducts all materials handling procedures in accordance with established Company policies and procedures and safety regulations. * Place all materials in the designated area. * Ensure that all parts have been accounted for based on the pick list. * Check off all delivered parts before the end of your shift. * Communicate with Supervisors to ensure clear lines of communication. * Multi-task and prioritization in accordance with company daily schedule and requirements. * Accurately update the inventory management system to reflect real-time inventory status and facilitate easy tracking. * Perform periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies with the Inventory Analyst team. * Monitor and report any material damages or discrepancies. * Other duties as assigned. **Working Conditions:** * Safety policies must be always adhered to. * It is very important that the incumbent of this position can work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely. * Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g., safety glasses, safety boots, ear protection, cut level 5 gloves etc.). * Regularly works near moving parts.
