1 -2 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala), AWS data stack, Amazon S3 (Parquet datasets, partition strategies, data layout best practices), Amazon Athena (SQL, query optimization, managing large datasets), Airflow (DAGs, scheduling, dependencies, backfills), SQL skills, data modeling fundamentals, Advanced English level

Nice to Have

dbt (core, tests, documentation, exposures), healthcare data (claims data, eligibility, member-level datasets), tokenization, identity resolution, or privacy-preserving data workflows, AWS security concepts (IAM, KMS, encryption, secure data handling), Spark on AWS (EMR) or Spark-on-containers architectures, AWS-native data lake patterns (Glue Catalog, Lake Formation concepts)

Build and maintain Spark pipelines

Process large-scale Parquet datasets

Implement tokenization workflows

Process and deliver healthcare claims datasets

Ensure accurate identity mapping

Orchestrate data pipelines

Develop reliable ETL/ELT processes

Optimize performance and cost

Contribute to dbt models
