What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's/Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or related fields, 10+ years of hands-on experience in high-current inductor manufacturing, especially multilayer inductors and molded inductors, Ability to support process development, sample production, pilot runs, yield improvement, and mass production introduction, In-depth understanding of inductor manufacturing processes, key process parameters, material properties, tolerance control, process capability, reliability risks, and production failure modes, In-depth understanding of magnetic materials, coupled inductors, saturation characteristics, core loss, copper loss, thermal behavior, mechanical stress, and reliability-related design considerations, Good laboratory testing and measurement capabilities for evaluating inductor and power module characteristics (inductance, DCR, saturation current, temperature rise, efficiency impact, waveform performance)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of power electronics applications, Familiarity with structural simulation and power electronics simulation tools, Fluent English
What You'll Do.
Design new high-current
high-power density power module inductors for CPU/GPU/xPU core power supply and AI server power applications
Responsible for magnetic component design
including trade-offs and optimization in material selection
and mechanical integration
Support inductor manufacturing process development
including magnetic material preparation
and reliability control
Collaborate with suppliers and factories to support sample production
and mass production introduction
Conduct electromagnetic and thermal simulations for inductor design
temperature rise analysis
and module-level thermal coupling analysis; support structural simulation as needed
Correlate simulation results with experimental test data and drive design and process improvements based on validation results
Write and review technical documents
manufacturing review documents
and customer technical materials
Participate in new power module definition
inductor technology roadmap planning
and customer technical communication
